Sarratt Honey

£6.00 (each)

A serious treat! 260g of pure, local honey, made by Sarratt bees from Sarratt flowers. The beekeeper is Sarah Altman, who is a person of integrity! You cannot label honey as organic in the UK, as there isn’t enough organic certified land to cover the area that bees can visit, but Sarah’s bees are foraging in and around Sarratt, which is very low in arable agriculture, and therefor in the associated pesticide use. Most of their nectar will come from hedgerows, flowering trees, and garden flowers, making it as close to organic as we can get! In a recent random test of supermarket honeys, 100% were found the have been adulterated with sugar syrup. 100%!!! This is how the price is kept so low - it’s literally not the same product. 🤦‍♀️ There is limited stock of this delicious delicacy - once its gone, its gone, until next year…
